MEOW Mission, Inc.
"Changing Lives One
Feline at a Time"
About Us
MEOW Mission, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non profit organization founded in 2020 by two crazy cat ladies who are passionate about felines and are dedicated to improving the quality of life for felines in the Central Missouri region. MEOW Mission, Inc. is not a licensed rescue, we do not take in cats or kittens or dogs or puppies and relocate them. We do try to work with licensed rescues and shelters if there is a pet in need.
One of our missions is to partner with other animal welfare organizations to keep felines and canines out of the system and in loving homes by providing medical resources or pet food to low income families with pets in need or for community cats who need to be spayed and neutered and kept in their "communities".
Our main mission is to provide trap, neuter, return (TNR) program for feral or community cats by successfully TNR'ing the community cats by neutering/spaying, flea preventative, rabies vaccinations and worming (as needed). We also address any medical issues before releasing them back into their colonies.
We also work with low-income families with owned pets to provide spay and neuter assistance and emergency medical funding as funds allow.
MEOW Mission, Inc. is aware of the many challenges facing pets in the Central Missouri communities. The purpose of this non-profit is to utilize 100% of funds raised to give back to the community pets. We can ONLY do this by holding successful fundraisers, establish partnerships, sponsorships and grants to:
-
Provide funding for spay and neuter programs (TNR) to community caretakers;
-
Pet food to needy pets and their families within the service area;
-
Provide spay and neuter to low-income families with pets;
-
Provide education to members of the community about spaying and neutering;
-
Provide education on the proper care of to owned pets to their owners;
-
Provide medical funds for medical emergencies for low income and needy families;
-
Partner with shelters and rescues within the service area to provide outreach efforts (and funding when available) with regards to TNR;
-
Networking and resources for owned pets that are displaced to licensed rescues
-
Hold low-cost vaccination clinics for low-income families who could not otherwise get their pets vaccinated or microchipped.
IMPORTANT NOTE: WE ARE NOT A CITY/COUNTY/STATE FUNDED NON-PROFIT. ALL MONIES RAISED ARE FROM THE WORK OF OUR VOLUNTEERS, SUPPORTERS, SPONSORS AND FOLLOWERS.
We want to help as many pets as possible to have normal, healthy and happy lives. Contact us today for more information.
